Falkirk, Scotland Place of Birth5′ 8″ (173cm) HeightFootball, American Football Interests2008*, 09, (10), 11, 12*, (13), (16) Qualifying SchoolShowed nerves of steel at the 2012 Qualifying School, holing out from 15 feet for par at the 17th hole of the final round then sinking a 25-foot birdie putt on the last to jump into the qualification places and take the 20th card. Will hope to improve on his only other season on The European Tour, in 2009, when he was 134th in The Race to Dubai. Had come through all three stages of the Qualifying School in 2008 while still an amateur, playing 252 holes and turning professional immediately. That year he rounded off a stunning amateur career in style by winning the Scottish Amateur title at Carnoustie before holing the winning putt for Great Britain and Ireland against Europe in the St Andrews Trophy. His outstanding performance in the Eisenhower Trophy – the World Amateur Team Championship – drove Scotland to an historic first victory in the competition.
