Amateur highlights included receiving the 2004 Peter McEvoy Trophy, winning the Spanish and Welsh Amateur titles in 2007, and the Danish Amateur and Under 21 Faldo Junior Series in 2005.

His first professional title came at the 2008 Ladbrokes Masters on the EuroPro Tour. Played on the European Challenge Tour in 2009, finishing 14th as he earned playing rights on the DP World Tour, also winning the Allianz Golf Open Grand Toulouse that season.

Joined three of his 2007 Walker Cup team as DP World Tour winners – the others being Welshman Rhys Davies, Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy and Englishman David Horsey - when he won the 2010 Vivendi Cup.

Lost playing rights on the DP World Tour in 2017 and returned to the Challenge Tour in 2022, finishing 17th on the Rankings. Played on the Challenge Tour again in 2024 after losing his card again, but found form as he won three times during the Road to Mallorca season at the Delhi Challenge, Blot Open de Bretagne and Italian Challenge Open, earning automatic promotion to the DP World Tour.

Carried his form on to the 2025 Race to Dubai as he finished second at the Alfred Dunhill Championship and then ended a more than 14-year wait for his second victory at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, carding a final round 64 to surge up the leaderboard, overturning a five-stroke deficit to win by two.
