The Back 9 begins with our second trip to England in the 2026 season for the Husqvarna British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo.

Here is everything that players of our Fantasy game need to know.

This week some of the DP World Tour's biggest stars descend on the storied venue of The Belfry for one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the season.

Among those are Europe Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald and his vice captain Edoardo Molinari, who will oversee some of the potential team as qualification for the biennnial spectacular in 2027 begins.

Add in fellow Swing winners Mikael Lindberg and Scott Jamieson and Phase Two of the season looks set for a thrilling start.

Who are the most backed players

In the early stages of selection, it was home favourites dominating, with Hatton featuring in a whopping 81% of teams.

Next came Matt Wallace at 57%, just one percentage point ahead of Marco Penge, with Keita Nakajima and Harry Hall rounding out the top five.

What is the Axi Edge Score?

The Axi Edge Score made a spectacular debut earlier this month as it tipped Jeff Winther, with the Dane going on to win his second DP World Tour title at the Danish Golf Championship on home soil.

Who has the Edge?

Oliver Lindell

Fresh from a week off following his second runner-up finish of the season, the remarkably consistent Finn should arrive in the Midlands full of confidence. He has not missed a cut since the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and in making every weekend in his 20 starts across the 2026 season he has racked up four top tens to go with those second-places to sit ninth on the Race to Dubai Rankings Delivered by DP World. Those runner-up finishes and one of his top tens came in his last five starts, where he has also registered a tie for 13th and then a tie for 36th in the rarified air of a Rolex Series event co-sanctioned with the PGA TOUR. All that is missing is a win and surely, surely it cannot be far away.

Others to watch

Favourite - Tyrrell Hatton

The Englishman is arguably the biggest name in the field and with that profile comes favouritism with the bookmakers. Of course, you do not gain profile without being a world class player and Hatton has shone on the biggest stages while playing a limited schedule in 2026. His tie for third at the Masters is his best reult in a Major and he followed that up with another top ten at the U.S. Open. He also has an eye for the big stage, with all of his eight DP World Tour wins coming at either Rolex Series events or the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. You'd be hard pushed to find a more popular winner and he already has a home victory under his belt at the BMW PGA Championship, with only one finish outside the top 20 at this event.

Form Horse - Matthew Jordan

It was at this event seven years ago that Jordan truly announced himself on the DP World Tour, firing a blistering opening 63 to lead the way at Hillside. That was the same season he played his sole campaign on the HotelPlanner Tour, winning in Italy and earning graduation. Since then he has been incredibly consistent but a month ago he was in danger of losing his card for the first time. Fast forward and he is up to 34th in the Rankings after back-to-back runner-up finishes made him the hottest player on Tour. He has also made the cut at each of his last three appearances at The Belfry after struggling initially so everything is moving in the right direction.

Looking Back - Nexo Championship

Scott Jamieson may have been a home favourite last week but he was not hugely backed by our players, winning 180 points for 2.22% of them.

Our man with the Edge Eugenio Chacarra finished in a tie for 30th alongside Favourite Patrick Reed, with Form Horse Jacob Skov Olesen in a tie for 16th.
