John Parry, Kristoffer Reitan and Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen, all 2024 HotelPlanner Tour graduates, embarked on their rookie PGA TOUR seasons at the start of January.
Having earned promotion to the DP World Tour following the 2024 Rolex Grand Final supported by The R&A, Englishman Parry was the first to taste victory on Golf’s Global Tour at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open before eventually finishing the season 11th on the Race to Dubai to secure playing privileges stateside for the 2026 campaign.
The 39-year-old made his PGA TOUR bow at the Sony Open in Hawaii where he posted his best finish to date following an opening six under par round of 64, leaving him in a tie for 19th. Since then, the four-time HotelPlanner Tour winner hasn’t missed a cut on US soil having teed it up at The American Express, Farmers Insurance Open, WM Phoenix Open, the Cognizant Classic at Palm Beaches and, most recently, the Puerto Rico Open, where he posted his first top ten following rounds of 72-65-68-72 at Grand Reserve Golf Club.
2024 Road to Mallorca Number One Neergaard-Petersen also teed it up at the first PGA TOUR opposite-field event of the year. The Dane, who earned his PGA TOUR card following a dramatic final round at the 2025 DP World Tour Championship in Dubai, has featured four times in his rookie season on US soil, and is yet to miss a cut.
Norwegian Reitan rounds off the 2024 graduates competing on the PGA TOUR this year, and the former Rolex Grand Final supported by The R&A champion posted his best finish to date at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches after piecing together four consistent rounds of 67-70-69-70 to end the week in a tie for 17th. After missing the cut in the first event of the season in Hawaii, Reitan has seemingly found his feet in the United States and sits 94th on the season-long Rankings.
Englishman Marco Penge earned promotion in 2023 before going on to win three times on the DP World Tour last year. Despite missing back-to-back cuts to kick off his PGA TOUR career, the 27-year-old has turned a corner. Rounds of 66 and 64 saw him set the pace at The Genesis Invitational before he eventually finished in a tie for 16th amongst a top-class field in California. Having arrived in the United States off the back of a remarkable campaign on Golf’s Global Tour, where he pushed Rory McIlroy for the Race to Dubai crown, Penge will be looking to push on with a number of big events and the first Major Championship of the season fast approaching.
