NTT Data Pro-Am brought to you by Standard Bank: Three to watch

The 2026 Road to Mallorca arrives in George this week for the NTT Data Pro-Am brought to you by Standard Bank, the third of four co-sanctioned events between the HotelPlanner Tour and the Sunshine Tour. Here are three players to keep an eye on this week at Fancourt Golf Estate…

Englishman Will Enefer secured a breakthrough win at last week’s CIRCA Cape Town Open, overcoming South African Hennie Otto in a play-off after the two couldn’t be separated following 72 holes. Enefer, who returned to the HotelPlanner Tour last year following a season on the DP World Tour in 2024, will be looking to continue his impressive form this week and become the first English winner of the NTT DATA Pro-Am brought to you by Standard Bank since the event became co-sanctioned with the Sunshine Tour in 2020.

Local Boy: Deon Germishuys

The local boy this week is the man who is currently third in the Road to Mallorca Rankings. Deon Germishuys has had a blistering start to the 2026 season, finishing in second place at the SDC Open. The 26-year-old is looking for a third promotion to the DP World Tour after graduating in 2022 and 2024. The South African tees it up with four-time Major champion Ernie Els for the opening round on the Outeniqua course and he will be eager to improve on his performance 12 months ago, where he finished 58th on seven under par for the week.

Outsider: Pablo Ereno

Spain’s Pablo Ereno only turned professional in June 2025 and played his way into the NTT DATA Pro-Am brought to you by Standard Bank  following a tied fourth place finish at the CIRCA Cape Town Open last week. The 22-year-old developed his game in America at UCLA, featuring five times on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2025 alongside his four DP World Tour appearances, with his best finish coming at the FedEx Open de France, where he ended the week tied 22nd.

Ereno, who is teeing it up at Fancourt for the first time this week, will be looking to follow in the footsteps of his countrymen Angel Ayora and Rocco Repetto Taylor, who have both come through the HotelPlanner Tour to earn promotion to the DP World Tour in recent years.
