British chart favourites Toploader will bring their melodic hits to the Genesis Scottish Open this summer, headlining the Fringe by the Tee stage in the heart of the tournament’s Fan Zone on Saturday 11th July.
Taking the Saturday night headline slot, Toploader will deliver a high-energy performance including their global smash hit Dancing in the Moonlight - one of the most recognisable and enduring feel-good songs of the past two decades - at the Renaissance Club in East Lothian.
Since the release of their debut album Onka’s Big Moka, which sold over two million copies and produced multiple Top 20 singles, the band have built a reputation as one of the UK’s ultimate crowd-pleasing live acts. With over a billion streams worldwide and decades of touring experience, their set promises a vibrant summer soundtrack to follow a day of world-class golf.
Following the success of previous years, the collaboration between the Genesis Scottish Open and Fringe by the Sea returns in 2026, with the Fringe by the Tee pop-up stage once again enhancing the fan experience at the global sporting event.
Blending live entertainment with the world-class golf on offer, the stage will be a highlight of the Fan Zone from 8-12th July, creating a lively, family-friendly atmosphere throughout tournament week.
Toploader’s Saturday headline performance forms part of a wider programme of music, comedy and entertainment still to be announced, ensuring there is plenty for fans to experience both on and off the course.
The 2026 Genesis Scottish Open – a Rolex Series event co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour and PGA TOUR - will once again see many of the world’s top golfers competing alongside Scotland’s leading players in one of the highlights of the international golf calendar.
Rory Colville, Genesis Scottish Open Championship Director, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Toploader to the Fringe by the Tee stage this summer, as we continue to partner with Fringe by the Sea to add outstanding live performances to the fantastic range of entertainment on offer alongside the world-class golf at the Genesis Scottish Open.”
