Martin Couvra, Oihan Guillamoundeguy and Tom Vaillant will lead the home charge at this year’s FedEx Open de France, with the talented young trio confirmed to tee it up at Le Golf National from September 24-27.
France’s rising stars will join a global field, including Englishman Tommy Fleetwood and Norwegian Viktor Hovland, when the 108th edition of Continental Europe’s oldest national open is staged on the outskirts of Paris this autumn.
Couvra enjoyed a breakthrough debut season on the DP World Tour in 2025, claiming the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year Award thanks to victory at the Turkish Airlines Open and another six top-ten finishes.
The popular 23-year-old has continued his impressive form in 2026, recording four further top-ten finishes to sit 56th on the Race to Dubai Rankings Delivered by DP World, with success on home soil his next goal.
“It’s always very special to play at home. We feel so much love and support from the French fans, and I am sure they will be cheering us on again this September,” said Couvra.
“I’m looking forward to being back at Le Golf National and trying my best to make it a week to remember.”
Compatriot Guillamoundeguy, who earned promotion to golf’s Global Tour this season after finishing fifth on the Road to Mallorca standings, will be aiming to make his own mark on French fairways.
The 21-year-old recorded his best DP World Tour result to date in May, finishing in a share of third at the Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship, with his fourth FedEx Open de France the perfect stage to capitalise on his momentum.
“I’m really looking forward to playing again in France, and having the opportunity to represent my country,” said Guillamoundeguy.
“I have great memories from the last few times I have played this event in front of my family and friends, as well as the French fans. It is always an amazing atmosphere, and I can’t wait to be part of another great week.”
Vaillant will be just as eager to impress in front of a home crowd. The 24-year-old, who has been working his way up the leaderboard in recent months, will be searching for his maiden DP World Tour title when he returns to Le Golf National.
“For me, this is a week I really enjoy being part of. It’s always special to play in front of your home fans,” said Vaillant.
“This tournament has an incredible history, and I look forward to another special edition this September.”
The FedEx Open de France, which returns to Le Golf National following renovation in 2025, was first played in 1906 and became part of the DP World Tour in 1972. Some of golf’s most recognisable names, including Peter Oosterhuis, Seve Ballesteros, Bernard Gallacher, Sandy Lyle, Sir Nick Faldo, Bernhard Langer, Sam Torrance and Colin Montgomerie, are among its winners.
