Defending champion Bernd Wiesberger will begin his 2020 Italian Open challenge in the company of Frenchman Victor Perez and England's Matt Wallace on Thursday afternoon.
World Number 35 Wiesberger claimed his third victory of the 2019 Race to Dubai season when he fired a closing 65 at Olgiata Golf Club to win by one shot 12 months ago.
The Austrian heads to Chervò Golf Club to defend his title and will start his first round at 12.32 alongside last week's runner-up Wallace and 2019 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship winner Perez.
Adrian Otaegui, who stormed to a four shot victory at the Scottish Championship presented by AXA last time out, also gets his opening round under way on Thursday afternoon, teeing off with home favourite Edoardo Molinari and Australia's Jason Scrivener at 12.52.
Lee Westwood, who has 25 European Tour titles to his name, is among the early starters, beginning from the tenth tee at 08.30 with Italy's Renato Paratore and two time Major Champion Martin Kaymer.
