What's in the bag: Casey Jarvis makes one short-lived change on way to second victory in a row

Casey Jarvis made just one short-lived equipment change on his way to becoming the third multiple winner this season and second player to win back-to-back titles, claiming a three-stroke victory at the Investec South African Open Championship.

Just a week on from making changes at the top end of his bag, Jarvis stayed with a mostly unchanged set-up from his maiden win in Kenya to follow in the footsteps of compatriot Jayden Schaper and record consecutive wins this season.

Last week we reported that long-time TaylorMade staffer Jarvis had made just one change to his set-up from his last start, bringing in the TaylorMade R7 Quad Mini Driver with 13.5 degrees of loft - first used at the 2025 KLM Open - to replace his TaylorMade P-7MB 4-iron.

It was the latest in a series of changes made for the 2026 season, with his TaylorMade Qi4D LS driver being brought in at the Alfred Dunhill Championship and altered from nine to 10.5 degrees in Bahrain.

The only change this week was a short-lived one, having taken out the mini driver from his bag and replaced it with a 4-iron during an opening round 67. He switched back to the mini driver for the remaining rounds.

His TaylorMade Qi4D 16.5-degree fairway wood is also a recent addition, having been added to the bag at the Qatar Masters.

TaylorMade Milled Grind 5 wedges and the TaylorMade Spider Tour putter have been in his bag since last season, while his TaylorMade P-7MB irons have been a staple since 2024.

Jarvis plays with a TaylorMade TP5 X ball.
