The European Challenge Tour returns to Sweden for back-to-back events in 2022 - the Dormy Open and the Indoor Golf Group Challenge.

Mory’s maiden win

Felix Mory secures first win

Felix Mory secured a maiden European Challenge Tour title at the Dormy Open after defeating Björn Hellgren in a play-off.

The 26-year-old took a two-shot lead into the final round at Österåkers Golfklubb and he quickly extended his advantage with a birdie at the first. However, back-to-back bogeys followed as the Frenchman carded a two over par final round of 74, meaning he finished on 15 under par, level with Sweden’s Björn Hellgren and Portugal’s Ricardo Gouveia. Mory was able to stand firm and seal victory with a birdie at the second play-off hole.

Henrik Stenson secured a memorable victory at the 2000 Challenge Tour Grand Final in Cuba. The Swede arrived at Varadero Golf Club with a point to prove after narrowly missing out on promotion to the top tier the season before, despite finishing in a tie for second at the same venue. Stenson secured victory in 2000 to top the Rankings and has since become one of the world’s best with 11 DP World Tour titles to his name, including the 2016 Open Championship at Royal Troon.
