Andy Sullivan enjoyed the support of the home crowd as he produced a four-under-par 68 to climb up the leaderboard on day three of the Nedbank Golf Challenge hosted by Gary Player.
Sullivan has fond memories of playing in South Africa, having won two European Tour events in the country last year.
And after carding six birdies and two bogeys on Saturday to get to within four shots of runaway leader Jeunghun Wang, the Englishman said he felt relaxed on South African soil.

He said: "It's been great out there. I've got quite a few fans out there to cheer me on. It's great.
"It's always nice to come to South Africa. I feel very relaxed here and always enjoy the vibe down here. So long may it continue."
Sullivan reached the turn in 35 after mixing three birdies with two bogeys on his front nine in tricky conditions at Gary Player Country Club.
The 29 year old made further gains at the 11th and 16th before curling in his monster birdie putt at the 17th to get to seven under.
Sullivan, who will head into the final round in third place, one shot behind home hope Louis Oosthuizen, added: "The putter has been very cold recently, so to see some putts going in was absolutely fantastic.
"I didn't have the best of warm-ups this morning, so to come off and finish four under for the day is massively pleasing. Hopefully I can go find something on the range and get after it tomorrow."
