Fitzpatrick targets Seve record

England's Matt Fitzpatrick would match one of the great Seve Ballesteros' records if he completes a hat-trick of titles at Crans-sur-Sierre. A third-round 67 sent the 29-year-old two clear on 15 under as he looks to add to his wins in 2017 and 2018. The former U.S. Open Championship winner combined seven birdies with two bogeys and a double bogey, and has plenty to aim for on Sunday. “I feel like there's a lot of things for me this week,” Fitzpatrick said. “I can wrap up Ryder Cup, I can match Seve's record and win here three times. A win here is always special and my third would be even better.”

Swede dreams could come true for Aberg

Aberg says contending for a first DP World Tour title is “what you dream of” after moving into a share of second place. The former World Amateur Number One carded a third-round 66 to join compatriot Björk and Scotland's Syme in second on 13 under par. Aberg said: “I was swinging it great, struggling a bit on the greens at times, but overall happy with the score today. It’s been like this the last two tournaments; I feel I’ve been pretty good tee to green but haven’t been able to put those great rounds together. I can’t wait (for Sunday), it’s what you dream of, what you want to do.”

Positive signs for Syme

Syme came into the week 88th in the Race to Dubai Rankings in Partnership with Rolex but on the back of a season's-best tied fourth finish at ISPS HANDA World Invitational presented by AVIV Clinics. "It’s not been the best of seasons for me so far but I’m definitely seeing some good signs over the last tournament in Galgorm and into this one," he said after carding seven birdies in a 65. "I’m so excited to be in this position and hopefully I can play well tomorrow. I missed the cut at The Open and I was really disappointed, it’s something I had been looking forward to since I qualified last year. I had a real think about how I could improve over the next three weeks, and it’s really nice to see that paying off at Galgorm and into this week. It’s just a lot of positive stuff with my psychologist, putting coach, swing coach, my dad. It’s been really positive and hopefully I can take that into tomorrow."

Pros put in their place by 14-year-old
