The 1985 Open champion, and European Senior Tour member, Sandy Lyle regained the World Hickory Open title with a 10-shot victory at Panmure, one of the qualifying venues for this year's Senior Open Championship Presented by Rolex.
The Scot, who also won the Masters Tournament in 1988, reclaimed the title he won two years ago on the same course.
The 58 year old carded a three under par 67 on the first day to lead by seven shots, and carded a second round 71, finishing 10 shots clear of defending champion Andrew Marshall.
