County Louth Golf Club, more affectionately known as Baltray, is rated in Golf Digest’s top 100 golf courses in the world as a ‘hidden gem’. Baltray is also one of the top twenty five courses in the British Isles and within the top six courses in Ireland. The Course is easily accessible via the newly opened M1 and is less than an hours drive from Dublin City.
DIRECTIONS:
Travelling from Dublin City motorists are advised to take the M1 north. Once past the M1 Toll Plaza (€1.50 per car), follow signpost for Drogheda. Take the first exit off the M1 for Drogheda North. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit. At the next roundabout take 2nd exit for the R152. At the junction with the R108 turn left onto the R108. At the junction with the N1 turn left onto the N1. At the junction with Shop Street (Drogheda) turn right onto the R167 (signposted Docks), cross the River Boyne and turn right and following directional signage for Baltray.
Travelling from Northern Ireland – motorists are advised to take the M1 South. Before the M1 Toll Plaza follow signposts for Drogheda. Take the exit off the M1 for Drogheda North.
