The European Swing reaches its second half this week at the KLM Open and here is all that players of the DP World Tour's official fantasy game need to know.
The prestigious national opens just keep on coming and after Belguim and Austria it is now the turn of the Netherlands at The International.
First played in 1912 and an ever-present on the DP World Tour schedule since 1972 with the exception of Covid disruptions, the event has been won by the likes of Seve Ballesteros, Bernhard Langer, José María Olazábal, Payne Stewart, Darren Clarke and Martin Kaymer.
Major Champions Francesco Molinari and Danny Willett tee it up this week as does 18-year-old rising star and U.S. Amateur champion Mason Howell.
Double victors in 2026 Jayden Schaper and Casey Jarvis will be looking to enhance their Race to Dubai credentials and they are joined by six other winners from the current season and nine previous winners of this event including defending champion Connor Syme and two-time winner and home hero Joost Luiten.
Add in more home favourites such as Darius van Driel, Wil Besseling and Daan Huizing and we are in for a thrilling week.
Who are the most backed players
Bernd Wiesberger is a proven winner in fine form so there is little surprise he is the most popular pick among our players featuring in 32% of teams.
Hot on his heels at 29% is Luiten, with Jacob Skov Olesen, Daniel Hillier and Eugenio Chacarra then rounding out the top five, with all featuring in more than 20% of teams in a well-spread week.
Who are our ones to watch?
Here, we pick out three players in action this week who are worth considering for your Fantasy team selections.
Favourite: Angel Ayora
It is testament to the incredible talent and potential shown by the Spaniard that he has been the bookies' favourite several times this season despite having not yet tasted victory. That is again the case this week for the 21-year-old who has one of the most talked-about and in many cases envied swings in the game. He has four top tens from 16 starts this season with just three missed cuts - and one of those came on his Major debut at the US PGA Championship. He also disappointingly missed the weekend the event before that on home soil, so a two-week break after his Aronimink adventure may have come at just the right time. Everybody is saying it is a case of if not when he wins and, playing on a course where he has finished in the top 25 the last two years, why not this week?
Form Horse: Bernd Wiesberger
It is hard to believe the Austrian started the season on a career-money exemption after not registering a top ten last season but we all know what they say about form and class. After a start to 2026 that was consistent without being spectacular, his victory at the Volvo China Open looks to have taken his confidence, and game, to another level. He had back-to-back ties for 13th in Türkiye and Catalunya before missing the cut at the US PGA Championship on an Aronimink layout where many of the world's best were caught out. He then had the pressure of being one of the headline acts on home soil last week and produced a tie for fourth that had him right in the mix heading into Sunday. Right now he looks every inch the player that won two Rolex Series events in 2019.
Wild Card: Joe Dean
The Englishman was one of the stories of the 2024 season as he finished second at the Magical Kenya Open presented by absa just weeks after working as a supermarket delivery driver. He followed that with another runner-up finish here at The International as his remarkable rookie campaign saw him play his way into the season-ending DP World Tour Championship. He could not repeat that success in 2025 - although he did make it to the first Play-Off event in Abu Dhabi - and in 2026 the name of the game has been consistency. After missing four of his first five cuts, he has since made eight in a row, a run stretching back to February. In that time he has not yet got a top ten but including U.S. Open Qualifying he has been under par for his last ten rounds, registering four in a row in the 60s last time out in Austria for a season's best finish of 12th. The man who does not warm up is getting hot.
