Jacques Kruyswijk was pleased to see his hard work pay off after holing a wedge shot for an extraordinary eagle on day three of the 2025 Joburg Open.
Home favourite Kruyswijk moved up into a tie for second on Saturday after signing for a third-round 68 to reach ten under par.
The highlight of his day came at the par-five tenth, where he span a wedge shot into the hole for an eagle three.
And Kruyswijk revealed afterwards that he has put a lot of work into his wedge game.
Speaking about the hole-out eagle, he said: "That was nice.
"Third shot into the hole, it spun beautifully, pitched about two-and-a-half metres left of the flag and just spun into the hole. It was nice.
"I pride myself on my wedge play.
"It wasn't always my strongest point but I really buckled down the last couple of months and worked hard on it, so it's paying off dividends."
