A refreshed Haotong Li is looking to enjoy the comforts of his second home when he tees it up this week at the Porsche Singapore Classic.
After playing six out of seven events as he finished fourth on the International Swing, the Chinese has had a chance to recharge his batteries ahead of teeing it up on his home continent.
Many eyes will be on Li over the course of the Asian Swing, which gets under way this week at Laguna National and culminates in a double header of events in his homeland, with places on the Back 9 and at the US PGA Championship and Genesis Scottish Open at stake.
And after claiming a fourth DP World Tour title just last month at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters, the 29-year-old arrives in Singapore full of energy and confidence as he looks to move ahead of Ashun Wu as the Chinese player with the most DP World Tour wins.
“I went back home to China and I realised after the first week that I really needed that body recovery and how tired my body was,” he said. “I'm very very pleased to have the two weeks off and come back fresh.
“I went to the gym every day and had treatment and played golf a few times so I feel like I'm ready for the Porsche Singapore Classic.
“The food, the hotels, everything is kind of what I grew up with, it's like a second home here and I hope I can play really well this week.
“My game is quite sharp still, I played on Monday and it felt quite nice and hopefully I have a good result this week.
“It's always nice to be back in Singapore playing Asian events.

“I do have quite a few fans over here following me around so I'm very happy to be back again. I'm just going to be myself and hopefully they enjoy it.
“It's going to be a tough golf course to play with, and tough weather to deal with. Hopefully we can have a great week and play well.”
Another Chinese player looking to make a splash on his home continent in Wenyi Ding, who is enjoying an excellent start to life in the paid ranks in his maiden DP World Tour season.
The 20-year-old came through the 2024 Global Amateur Pathway Rankings to earn his place on tour and has missed just one cut after playing every event for which he has been exempt to sit 32nd on the Race to Dubai Rankings.
That form has done nothing to change the belief of many from his amateur days that Ding is a star in the making and Li is certain he has all the tools to make it to the very top.
“He's definitely got massive potential going forward,” he said. “I've played with him a few times this year already and his game just doesn't have any weakness.
“He definitely will be a superstar in the future.”
