Chinese rising stars Wenyi Ding and Yanhan Zhou will play alongside each other across the first two rounds of the Hainan Classic presented by MAEXTRO.
The first event of the Asian Swing sees both 72-hole stroke play and a 36-hole team event, as one professional plays alongside an amateur before the top 65 and ties in the field make the cut.
The opening two rounds wil be played across two courses at Mission Hills Haikou - the Blackstone and Vintage - with the professionals playing the Blackstone over the weekend.
Home favourites Ding and Zhou will get their campaigns under way off the tenth on the Vintage – a new course for the DP World Tour this season – at 08.04 local time on Thursday.
Shortly before, on the same course, the Spanish pair of Pablo Larrazábal and Angel Ayora – separated by 21 years in age – will get started at 07.42, with Major champion Francesco Molinari paired with another home favourite Ashun Wu 11 minutes earlier.
Also in the morning, Calum Hill and Brandon Robinson Thompson – who have both challenged for DP World Tour titles so far this season – tee off from the first on the Vintage at 07:53.
On the Blackstone, used solely for last year’s edition, recent Joburg Open winner Dan Bradbury starts his week alongside big-hitting Dane Niklas Nørgaard at 08:15 off the tenth.
At 07:53, 2025 Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year Martin Couvra is alongside Frederic Lacroix in all-French pairing.
In the afternoon, Andy Sullivan is alongside former Ryder Cup team-mate Rafa Cabrera Bello with the experienced pair teeing off at 12:19 on the first.
