World Number Nine Rory McIlroy became the first player to be given the honour of hitting golf balls in the shadows of the great Pyramids of Giza in Cairo during a break from starring in the Egyptian Open presented by SODIC.
"Three years ago, I would never have dreamt I'd be able to do something like this - it's just really cool," said the 21 year-old from Northern Ireland who is making his first appearance in the European Challenge Tour event in the Egyptian capital.
