Golf for Good Impact Report 2025

Golf for Good is our commitment to being environmentally and socially sustainable, ensuring a positive long-term impact on the courses, countries and communities we visit.

We do this through our three programmes - Green Drive, G4D Tour and Golf Futures.

Here, are a look at some of the key facts and figures from 2025.

Green Drive

Since the launch of the Green Drive initiative in 2021 and our subsequent pledge to reach Net Zero by 2040, 2025 has been our most sustainable year to date.

Event achievements

Carbon emissions calculated at eight events - including the Rolex Series

Increased focus on compostable waste stream at events

Fan Travel Offset activation at all events, with tCO2e increased by 79%

Sustainability forums held at GSO and AIO with 100 people in attendance at both

Water refill stations now delivered at all events as standard

Podcast and TV coverage of initaitives during BMW PGA Championship, as well as media stories

Hydrogen, battery and solar use increased this year, with hyrdrogen taken to Ireland for first time

Significantly increased accessibility at events

Nature activations trialed through family-friendly scavenger hunts at the Genesis Scottish Open and Alfred Dunhill Links Championship

G4D (Golf for the Disabled) Tour

Key numbers from 2025

• 24 different players representing 13 nationalities

• Seven tournaments, across Gross and Net

• Five different winners

• Visited France for first time

• Season finale moved from Dubai to Mallorca, coinciding with HotelPlanner Tour's final event of year

• The G4D Open - delivered in partnership with The R&A - saw 80 players representing 21 nationalities across nine sport classes

Key figures from four years of G4D

• 73 different players

• 29 nationalities represented

• 32 tournaments

• 14 different winners

• 12 countries visited

• 22 community clinics

Golf Futures

Our Golf Futures programme creates a legacy in the local communities we visit, either through charitable giving, participation opportunities or through educational workshops.

We had over 3,840 participants on site at our events, a 64% increase from 2024, for dedicated activities

• The GolfSixes League has entered four new territories, expanding its global reach to Asia

• At the Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo, fans and staff donated a container full of golf equipment and clothing, supporting golf development in Ukraine

• Surplus food at selected events resulted in over 5000 meals delivered to those in need
