Anders Hansen
- Making up for lost time this season, after sustaining an injury, and as such has only played six events.
- In three of his last four starts he has finished: tied fifth in the Volvo China Open, tied second in the Championship at Laguna National and tied 30th in the BMW PGA Championship.
- Missed the cut at the Nordea Masters, but has been in fine form and would be expected to challenge.
Miguel Angel Jiménez
- Recently moved to Vienna, so will be keen to put on a good show for his new Austrian wife.
- Is the highest ranked player in the field in both the World Ranking (27th) and The Race to Dubai (7th).
- Posted three top four finishes this season, including two wins.
- Never finished worse than 19th in three starts at Diamond County Club.
Joost Luiten
- The defending champion and looking to become the first player to win this event back-to-back.
- Will be looking to gain some further confidence in the run up to the US Open Championship next week.
- Has a great record over the Diamond Course, and is 38 under par for his 12 rounds
- Finished tied 17th in 2009, third in 2011 and first 12 months ago.
Gary Stal
- Impressed on his last European Tour appearance at the BMW PGA Championship, tying for 38th.
- From his 12 events so far this season he has made nine cuts.
- Has a best finish of tied 12th in the NH Collection Open.
- Won his first professional title at the Kärnten Golf Open presented by Mazda in 2012.
Bernd Wiesberger
- The home favourite, especially as Diamond Country Club tends to favour longer hitters.
- Won this event in 2012 and finished tied 14th in his title defence in 2013.
- Was also fifth in 2011, and his last 12 rounds at this course have all been par or better.
