Alexander Björk was happy to be able to give his children a taste of his life as a golfer as he brought down the curtain on his professional career at the Danish Golf Championship.
The Swede announced in September that he was retiring and 11 months later he was able to exit the stage close to home at Great Northern.
He has previously said that spending more time with his family was one of the reasons for his retirement at the age of 36 and it was very much a family affair as he said goodbye.
"It was very nice to be able to bring family," he said.
"I was thinking today on the course that when I was playing a few years ago and the kids were with me they probably don't remember and now they actually have something to remember from when I played golf.
"I think that was the best part of the week.
"This week was important for me to come here and have a sort of goodbye. I got a lot of time in the media and that was fun and it was also fun to bring out the family one last time."
A second round 77 ended Björk's chances of making the weekend in his swansong but he almost signed off in style, seeing his shot from the dropzone on the 18th almost fall into the cup.
That would have been a fitting ending for a man who bows out with 179 DP World Tour appearances and a win at the 2018 Volvo China Open.
