Danish Golf enters strategic partnership with REMA 1000, Uno-X Mobility, and 7-Eleven

GolfPromote, the organisation behind the Danish Golf Championship and the Danish professional tour ECCO Tour, has entered into a strong new partnership with Reitan Retail and their three brands: REMA 1000, Uno-X Mobility, and 7-Eleven.

These brands will become Premium Partners across all GolfPromote activities and play a key role in developing golf in Denmark.

A new perspective on golf: Sport, Health & Social

The partnership is built around the vision "Sport, Health & Social", aiming to highlight golf’s health benefits, social values, and inclusive nature.

"Sport, Health & Social may not be the first words that come to mind when people think about golf, but in reality, golf is one of the most social and inclusive sports in the world – and undoubtedly a healthy one. Those who play golf already know this, but we want to break down the many myths and misconceptions that still exist about the sport. REMA 1000, Uno-X Mobility, and 7-Eleven are the perfect partners to help us do that," says Flemming Astrup, CEO of GolfPromote.

The partnership will lead to a series of innovative campaigns and events designed to attract new audiences to golf and raise awareness of its many benefits.

Ambitious goals for the growth of golf in Denmark

Reitan Retail sees this partnership as an important opportunity to strengthen golf’s position in Denmark and create greater awareness of the sport’s accessibility.
