The Frenchman’s rich vein of form has seen him make the cut in all six events of the European Challenge Tour season to date, including his maiden win and two other top ten finishes.

With that win 30-year-old Coussaud catapulted to the top of the Rankings with 662 points. South Africa’s JJ Senekal, despite not playing either of the events in India, still holds on to second place with 430 points, while Adam Blommé from Sweden sits third with 382 points.

South African compatriots Dylan Mostert and Jaco Prinsloo, with 366 and 354 points respectively, make up the top five. Lorenzo Scalise is a further nine points behind, with the Italian in sixth place on 345 points after continuing his impressive start to the season, and Benjamin Follett-Smith from Zimbabwe is seventh with 327 points.

Manuel Elvira climbs 14 spots to eighth with 321 points, following a tied second place finish at The Challenge presented by KGA. India’s Om Prakash Chouhan, who claimed a dramatic win on home soil at the Duncan Taylor Black Bull Challenge, currently occupies ninth with Casey Jarvis the fourth South African in the top ten on 314 points.

Outside of the top ten, Joel Girrbach from Switzerland was one of the biggest movers after the Indian swing. His tied second place finish at The Challenge presented by KGA, alongside Elvira, sees him rise 35 spots in the Rankings to 13th.

After a three-week break, the Road to Mallorca will return with back-to-back events in the UAE starting with the Abu Dhabi Challenge, which takes place from April 27-30 at Abu Dhabi Golf Club.
