Fairways
Fairways and tees cut at 10mm and are in excellent condition.
Rough
The first cut of rough is set at 30mm. The area of second cut is very thick and cut to a height of 100mm
Greens
Virtually all the greens are large and well contoured. Currently running at 9 feet 10 inches on the stimpmeter.
Course Details
The rough is thicker than last year. The course is generally in better condition than last year and playing a little harder.
Course Layout
The first 9 holes are very flat however the second 9 are quite hilly and undulating. The 6th and 17th holes are very tough par 4s but all the par 5s are very reachable in 2. The course is surrounded by wine farms and spectacular mountains. The back 9 overlooks Gordons Bay and Strand with the Indian Ocean behind.
