HOSPITALITY

VULNERABLE PERSON WRISTBAND

Available at the ticket office within the Welcome Pavilion.

We would suggest offering these to parents with young children and those attending events with vulnerable adults. Spectators choosing to use these, simply need to write a contact number on the inside of the wristband and can then complete as much or as little additional information as they wish. For example, some parents may prefer not to add the name of their child.

SUNFLOWER LANYARDS

We recognise sunflower lanyards for people who have a hidden disability that might not be visible to see. They are for people who want to let us know that they may need some extra help, time or assistance. When you wear your sunflower lanyard, a member of staff may ask you if there is anything we can do to help you.

WHAT IS A HIDDEN DISABILITY?

A hidden disability is a disability that may not be immediately obvious.

This could be, for example:

Sensory loss, including difficulty seeing or hearing

A physical disability that may not be obvious

Autism

A learning disability

Anxiety or any other mental health condition.

There is no qualifying list of hidden disabilities. If you have a hidden disability and feel that you would benefit from wearing a sunflower lanyard, please do.

QUIET ROOM

The Championship wants to be a safe and happy place for everyone to enjoy. However, the size of the site and the large crowds mixed in with all the different sounds, lights, experiences can be overwhelming especially for customers with mental health, emotional and sensory issues or mothers nursing their babies. There will be a Quiet room located on the Championship Village map and the key can be obtained from the Information Tent.

INFORMATION FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED SPECTATORS

We welcome trained assistance dogs. Please note that they must be always kept on a lead.

INFORMATION / LOST & FOUND

If someone has lost a personal item or found an item belonging to someone else, please report this to the Information Tent located in the Championship Village, next to the Welcome Pavilion.

FIRST AID POINT

The First Aid point is situated on the right-hand side of the 18th Fairway.

EMERGENCY EVACUATION PROCEDURES

In the case of an emergency evacuation, all visitors to the BMW PGA Championship will be led to localised Rendezvous Points around the course which you will be directed to by a Steward or Marshal.

In the case of a Full Course Evacuation, Championship Officials will assist Marshals and direct you to the nearest Entry/Exit or Assembly Point Area.

We look forward to welcoming you to the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Golf Club.
