Parking & Transport

Travelling by car?

If you are travelling from Manama, head southeast on Al Fateh highway, continue onto Sheikh Isa Bin Salman highway, take the exit toward Riffa, then merge onto Al Estiqlal highway, and follow signs for Royal Golf Club.

VIP – Car Park 1

Closest entrance is Highway 96, Located at the Clubhouse underground Car Park Area.

Public Car Park (Terminal 1)

The public car park is located at DERASAT HQ, If you’re coming from Al Muaskar highway, take the exit to highway 96, then take right from the first roundabout and follow the signs to the public car park. There will be a free shuttle services to take you to the main tournament entrance. Click HERE to view location on Google Maps.

By Taxi/Uber/Careem/Drop-off (Terminal 2)

Taxi/Uber/Careem and Public drop-off and pick-up will be available for all spectators and will be next to the Royal Golf Club gate. Once you enter Al Riffa area, please ask your taxi driver to follow the signs to the taxi drop-off area.

Play Your Part

Spectators are reminded to bring a reusable water bottle in order to use the free water walls installed in the tournament village.

Be aware and listen for the shout of ‘Fore’. Shouting ‘Fore’ is a warning given by a player who believes the ball may leave the playing area. If you hear ‘Fore’ please protect your face and head.

Mobile Phone Policy

The Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship welcomes mobile phones and encourages everyone attending to enjoy and share their experience on social media.

To make everyone’s experience as enjoyable as possible, please ensure that your phone is on SILENT at all times and flash functionality is switched off at all times.

  • Mobile phone photography for personal use is permitted throughout the week in all areas of the course.

  • Mobile phone video capture is allowed throughout the week in non- competition areas only, such as practice facilities and mobile phone zones.

  • Phone calls are allowed in non-competition areas only, such as practice facilities and mobile phone zones.

  • Data use (texting, email, using the DP World Tour app, social media) is permitted at all times.

  • Please be considerate to other spectators.

  • At all times, please take care to avoid disturbing players and please respond to all requests from tournament staff, security, players and members of their team.

Prohibited Items

  • No picnics / picnic hampers allowed

  • The use of any computers and other electronic equipment at the Tournament Thursday to Sunday is not permitted other than with the proper accreditation.

  • Making or distributing broadcasts, commentary, news reports, data, results or statistics by any means in any format or media including any such by mobile phone or other wireless device is not permitted.

  • No dogs (other than guide dogs) or other animals are permitted on the course.

  • All promotional, commercial, political, religious or offensive items of whatever nature including, but not limited to, clothing, banners, signs, symbols and leaflets are prohibited.

The ticket holder must comply with all relevant statutes, signs, safety announcements, directions of marshals and ground regulations whilst attending the Tournament. Breach of any of these conditions or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall enable the venue or event management to revoke this ticket and to eject the holder without compensation.
