The leading three DP World Tour members at the close of the upcoming Asian Swing will qualify for this year's US PGA Championship.
For the third season running, the Global Swing - one of five on the Race to Dubai schedule - will provide a route for players to play their way into the field for the second of golf's four annual Major Championships, from May 14-17.
Spanning four counting events, across three countries, players can rack up points towards the Asian Swing Rankings at the Hainan Classic presented by MAEXTRO, Hero Indian Open, Volvo China Open and Turkish Airlines Open.
The Masters, the opening Major of the year, which falls during the Asian Swing - running from March 19 to May 3 - will again not count towards the Swing Rankings, but will see players claim points for the Race to Dubai Rankings Delivered by DP World.
Last year, Keita Nakajima, Eugenio Chacarra and Marco Penge claimed berths in the US PGA Championship at Quail Hollow through the Asian Swing.
Penge went on to finish in a tie for 28th - making the cut at a Major for the first time - as he finished the season a three-time winner on the DP World Tour, second on the Race to Dubai Rankings and with dual membership on the PGA TOUR.
The ongoing International Swing, which reaches the Qatar Masters this week before taking a one-week pause, will provide a platform for the winner of the Investec South African Open Championship to earn an invite to the Masters Tournament.
DP World Tour members also have a formalised route to secure Major exemptions at The Open Championship through The Open Qualifying Series, which includes South Africa's national open too.
