With the eyes of the golfing world turning to the Masters Tournament, here is all that players of the DP World Tour's official fantasy game need to know.
Scottie Scheffler returns as defending champion and looks to win the Green Jacket for the third time in four years, while Rory McIlroy arrives at Augusta National with another opportunity to complete the career Grand Slam.
Of the 95-strong field, DP World Tour members Laurie Canter, Thomas Detry, Rasmus Højgaard, Thriston Lawrence and Aaron Rai are among the rookies.
At the other end of the spectrum, two-time champion Bernhard Langer is set for his 41st and final appearance at the age of 67.
From insight into the week’s most-picked players among Fantasy managers, to our ones to watch, we run the rule ahead of Thursday’s deadline to pick your team.
Who are the most backed players?
Targeting his third Green Jacket in four years, Scheffler is the most picked player in the early stages, featuring in 87% of teams.
After a strong start to his season, McIlroy is then perhaps unsurprisingly just behind in 84% of teams before a drop to his Ryder Cup team-mate Ludvig Åberg, who finished second on his Augusta debut last year.
American pair Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele then close out the top five picked players, featuring in 45% and 37% of teams respectively.
Who are our ones to watch?
Here, we pick out three players in action this week who are worth considering for your Fantasy team selections.
Favourite - Scottie Scheffler
The World Number One and defending champion is the bookmakers' favourite, and after a delayed start to his season due to an injury he arrives with five top 20s in his six starts so far this year on the PGA TOUR. In his most recent appearance, he finished tied second at the Texas Children's Houston Open. He has never finished outside the top 20 at Augusta National in his five previous Masters starts. Since his victory here last year, he has become an Olympic gold medalist. So, with 15 rounds under par out of the 20 he has played, he will likely be a hard man to beat.
Form Horse - Rory McIlroy
Is this the year? Well, momentum is firmly with the Northern Irishman as he bids to claim that elusive Masters win which would see him complete the career Grand Slam. After starting the season with a top five finish on the DP World Tour in Dubai, he has since won twice on the PGA TOUR, at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and more recently at THE PLAYERS. In addition, he has finished no worse than tied 17th across his three other starts stateside. He spoke of being affected by an elbow issue in Texas in his most recent start, but after a full week off to finalise preparations there will be no shortage of people willing him on.
Wild Card - Min Woo Lee
Already a three-time DP World Tour winner, the Australian enjoyed the sweet taste of victory in his most recent start as he held off charges from the stellar chasing pack - including Scheffler - to win his maiden PGA TOUR title in Houston. This represents his fourth Masters start, and he has top-25 finishes at Augusta in two of the past three years. At a career-high 22nd in the Official World Golf Ranking, Rolex Series winner and fan favourite Lee is as creative a player as they come and that attribute is likely to be of value at a course known for its slopes and undulations.
