Everything you need to know from Moving Day at Doha Golf Club.
Haotong Li took over at the top and Matthew Jordan finished his round in style.
Here is everything you need to know from the third round at Doha Golf Club
Haotong hits the front
Haotong Li moved into a two-shot lead with a third round 67. The three-time DP World Tour winner from China advanced to 13 under at Doha Golf Club to overhaul halfway leader Brandon Robinson Thompson. Haotong wasted no time wiping out Robinson Thompson's two-shot overnight advantage as he birdied the first and second, with late gains at the 16th and 17th securing his advantage heading into the final round. “It felt not easy definitely,” said Haotong, who is seeking his first title since winning the 2022 BMW International Open. “An opposite wind compared to the last two days. I holed some moments and par putts, especially the one on ten. Overall I’m very pleased. So far this year my approach play has been really solid. I just need to keep the momentum going."
Jordan's big finish
Matthew Jordan had three-putted the 17th after cutting through the field with five consecutive birdies immediately before that, so perhaps it was inevitable that he would follow that blip with a 56-foot monster putt at the last.
Robinson Thompson pleased to remain in contention
After 15 holes without a birdie, you could forgive HotelPlanner Tour graduate Robinson Thompson if he had lost patience. Instead he birdied two of the last three to go into the final round only two back. "It was a bit of a slow start, honestly," he said. "Again the wind was up, pins were tucked a little bit and I kept hitting them to 30 or 40 feet. I kept giving myself chances but not close enough. You never know on this golf course, especially with this wind direction. You can always finish hot and luckily I picked up two towards the end there."
When luck is on your side...
Even Martin Couvra had seemingly given up on his putt's chnces of finding the bottom of the cup.

...and when it isn't
Kristoffer Reiten can feel a bit hard done by that he didn't ace the 17th.
How rare is this 🤯@KristofferR_98's ball bounces in the hole and then back out to miss out on a hole-in-one!#CBQMasters pic.twitter.com/Ve4D5zUNDy
