Eddie Pepperell remained on course for a wire-to-wire win while Jacob Skov Olesen got lucky on day three of the 2025 AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open.

Here is everything you need to know from Moving Day at Mont Choisy Le Golf.

Pepperell on the hunt for big win

Pepperell has a brilliant chance to banish the disappointment of missing out on a card by one shot at DP World Tour Qualifying School last month as he heads into the final round in Mauritius with a share of the lead. Pepperell nervelessly holed his birdie putt at the 18th to join early clubhouse leader Dylan Naidoo on 11 under on day three. Could Sunday see him enter the DP World Tour winner's circle for a third time? We shall see.

              Naidoo's birdie burst

Naidoo surged into contention on Moving Day, reeling off five birdies in a row on the front nine on his way to a stunning 66. His brilliant birdie run started with a six-footer at the third before he converted a lengthy putt at the short fourth. Naidoo completed his hat-trick with a tap-in on the fifth before holing from 20 feet on the sixth. He made it five with a confident ten-foot putt at the seventh, and while he gave himself another chance at the eighth, the South African had to settle for five in a row.

                    Du Plessis fires amazing albatross

CJ Du Plessis saved his best until last on Saturday, finishing his round in style with an albatross at the par-five 18th. Using a nine iron, the South African holed from 200 yards for the rarest of birds.

Pepperell makes tricky eighth look easy

It is easy to go very wrong at the par-three eighth at Mont Choisy Le Golf but Pepperell made it look pretty straightforward. He sent his tee-shot to around 12 feet before slotting in his birdie putt through the side door.

                          Olesen's lucky breaks

Olesen must have had his heart in his mouth when his tee-shot at the 13th headed towards the rocks. But a very fortunate bounce sent his ball hurtling in the right direction and he got up and down from over the back of the green for a bonus birdie.

And he was perhaps even more lucky on the 18th as the flag got in the way of his speedy third shot, leaving him with a tap-in for birdie.
