The Race to Dubai resumes after a one-week break following the climax of the regular DP World Tour season with the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, the first of the DP World Tour Play-Offs.
With the Back 9 finished, the DP World Tour now enters its third and final phase of the 2024 Race to Dubai.
The Rolex Series event carries 9,000 Rankings points that could make a huge difference for those vying to progress to the season-ending DP World Tour Championship, which will feature the top 50 available players in Dubai next week.
While reigning champion Victor Perez is not in the field, Rory McIlroy does lead a world-class field at Yas Links alongside fellow Major Champions like Adam Scott, Justin Rose and Shane Lowry.
Rolex Series winners Robert MacIntyre, Tommy Fleetwood and Min Woo Lee are also joined in the field by Thriston Lawrence and Rasmus Højgaard, who sit second and third in the season-long rankings.
European Tour Productions, the DP World Tour’s in-house production company, will produce and distribute live coverage of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.
As part of the extended coverage, there will be live feature group action on all four days ahead of the full broadcast beginning.
Who forms part of the Feature Groups?
Teeing off at 08:01 in Thursday's opening round, Scott is joined by Tyrrell Hatton and Matteo Manassero. At 09:23, McIlroy is in the same group as Lawrence and Højgaard.
On Friday, viewers will be able to follow Lee, Rose and Niklas Nørgaard from 08:01 in the second round, while Tommy Fleetwood is alongside Ryder Cup team-mates MacIntyre and Lowry in a game at 09:23.
