Min Woo Lee set his sights on teeing it up for Australia at the Olympic Men's Golf Competition after enjoying another solid week at a Major at the US PGA Championship.
The 25-year-old has missed just one cut in the last 12 months, winning the Fortinet Australian PGA Championship, securing Dual Membership on the PGA TOUR and finishing fifth at the U.S. Open as he continues to establish himself on the global stage.
That success has helped him to 36th on the Official World Golf Ranking, making him the second highest-ranked Australian and putting him in line for a place on the Australian team which will head to Paris in July.
There is also a Presidents Cup in September and having represented his country and region in the Eisenhower Trophy, Nomura Cup, Sloan Morpeth Trophy and Bonallack Trophy as an amateur, he is eager to get back in a team room this summer.
"Presidents Cup and Olympics, those team events, I want to get in there," he said.
"It would mean a lot. I feel like I've only just turned pro and I've played a lot of events for Australia. It has (actually) been a long time, four or five years since I played the amateur stuff and team events so it would still be nice to represent Australia, especially at the Olympics."
Lee's closing 67 was his third round in the 60s after an opening 72 at Valhalla Golf Club and the three-time DP World Tour winner is now looking for consistency on the biggest stage.
"I've been very solid, I just can't piece four rounds together but there's a lot of good stuff," he said.
"It's just a couple of holes that break the momentum but I do play good on the hard holes, which is really good, I just need to be better on the easy holes."
